Eye peering through palms covering face

Entropion is a condition in which the eyelid turns inward. This medical condition can be increasingly uncomfortable as the lashes can actually rub against the eye and irritate it. Typically entropion occurs dues a trauma, scarring, previous surgeries, or due to a laxity of tenons and/or muscles. The correct entropion in one or both eyelids requires a surgical tightening of the lid and sometimes the removal of scar tissues.
