Eye Trauma

Eye trauma or injuries near the eye may result in damage to the eyelids, lacrimal system, orbital bones, or eye.

Facial Fractures:  Fractures of the eye socket and bones around the eye can lead to facial deformities and/or poor eye movement.  They must be evaluated and treated appropriately by a specialist to restore function and appearance.

Laceration repair:  Laceration of the eyelid must be performed meticulously in order to restore the eyelid's protective function.  If the tear duct is injured, proper repair may be surgically necessary to preserve normal tear drainage.
