I am diabetic, & the morning I arrived for my upper & lower eyelid surgery my sugar was extremely high. Instead of sending me home, the holding nurse at the surgery center worked to get my sugar lowered. After about 1 1/2 hrs., she got my sugar down so Dr. Laquis could do the surgery. The operation was painless & my recovery has been remarkable. After 2 wks. my discoloration is gone. The staff at the surgery center, the office staff & Dr. Laquis displayed a very caring attitude throughout
