This past weekend Dr. Laquis was proud to sponsor the Southwest Florida Optometric Association Educational Retreat at South Seas Resort…where ALL EYES WERE ON US! All jokes aside, this educational retreat provides exceptional support and continuing education to both local and national Optometrists, as well as to support staff like Ophthalmic Technicians and Assistants. While these eyeball cake pops are fun and delicious, the reality is that in Oculoplastics our focus is rarely the eyeball itself, but rather the structures and skin surrounding the eye like the orbital space, the eyelids, and the eyebrows!
