Lee Health Medical Explorers at Stephen J. Laquis, MD, FACS office

Last week we welcomed the Lee Health Medical Explorers to the office to learn about what it takes to become a physician, and our specialty – Oculoplastics!  They learned about eyelid disorders, orbital tumors, trauma, and how to perform an eye examination. Medical Explorers is a program offered through Lee Health to Middle School and High School students who have an interest in the medical field. The program exposes students to the many careers one can pursue within healthcare.

Thank you Medical Explorers…we enjoyed having you!
